Their Turncoat NE IPA won best session ale in the country at SIBA 2025. Tatton Brewery in Knutsford uses a heritage local yeast. Bollington and RedWillow both brew near Macclesfield. Beartown in Congleton is famous for its velvety Creme Bearlee stout. Spitting Feathers in Waverton supplies taps in Chester.
Forest Distillery operates from a 17th century barn 1,200 feet up in Macclesfield Forest within the Peak District National Park. Three Wrens near Chester produces award-winning small-batch gin.
