Hilden Brewery near Lisburn, founded in 1981, is Ireland oldest independent brewery. Whitewater brews beneath the Mourne Mountains. Walled City Brewery operates within the historic walls of Derry. Lacada in Portrush is the first cooperative brewery in Ireland.

Shortcross was Northern Ireland first craft gin, distilled at Rademon Estate using botanicals from the grounds. Titanic Distillers produces whiskey in the historic Thompson Dock Pump House where the RMS Titanic was built. Echlinville was the first new licensed distillery in Northern Ireland for over 125 years.

Armagh is the Bramley apple heartland, with 4,000 acres of PGI orchards. Armagh Cider Company and Long Meadow produce cider from 100% pressed apple juice. Irish Black Butter is a unique spread made with Armagh Bramleys, treacle, and spices. SD Bell has been importing tea and roasting coffee in Belfast since 1887.
