Pembrokeshire has enjoyed a major brewing and distilling renaissance. Bluestone Brewing at the foot of the Preseli Mountains was the first brewery in the world to receive Green Key Accreditation for environmental sustainability. Tenby Brewing Co was founded by two friends who left corporate life, with Tap and Tan in Tenby and Hwb in Narberth. Harbwr Brewery brews on the harbourside with beers named after Tenby boats. Gwaun Valley Brewery produces ales with acoustic sessions.
Pembrokeshire Gin Company was the county first distillery in 2016. Tarquins won a Masters Medal. Cwm Deri Vineyard makes hedgerow wines and liqueurs. Pembrokeshire Cider Co draws on castle heritage.
